Summer 2007

Lavender Always first to be ready in our fields. The beautiful lavender blossoms  outdid themselves this year dancing in the breeze.

In past years we have had each lavender variety come on stage  one at a time making it's debut in full spotlight of the warm rays of the sun.  This year they all decided to come onstage together presenting themselves in full array sharing the spotlight as the stage broadened from one garden gate to the other.  What a beautiful sight to behold from the "Looking Place"! It spreads so wide that it can't even all be seen without turning from the east to the west in little baby steps  to take it all in view! Everyone came  to pick their choice stems in the fields.

The fresh harvest produces fine essential oils and hydrosols that are sold right here at Lavender Spring Ranch!  It's here now!

   Raspberries

Plump, juicy, red and delicious!  Many of you are remembering the day you were here in our fields having a great time picking those tasty raspberries! And we are betting there were some great cobblers and pies following the picking party!

We were happy to see you all!ALSO You may  remember the WONDERFUL Black-eyed Peas.  One car full of guests were waiting at the gate for an hour before opening time! They just couldn't wait!

Cucumbers, Okra, Silver Queen sweet corn, green beans, zucchini, and yellow squash.  Summer 2007 was the best ever !

September 2007

Winter Squash, Acorn and Butternut came in to take their place in the September harvest.  Once picked and baked with a little brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon...yummy
